Sound design concept: Tiny Aquarium
In this sound design concept for the upcoming game Tiny Aquarium, I wanted to convey a sense of calm and coziness that aligns with the desired game experience.One of the key aspects was highlighting constant elements in the scene, such as the rhythmic sound of the chest opening and closing, which contributes to the game's meditative qualities.
The idea that all decorative elements produce a unique sound is something that I find extremely interesting, as it expands the player's creativity, allowing them to design not only the visual aspect of their aquarium but also its soundscape.

I heavily utilized an audio degradation plugin called Codec, that simulates degradation of the internet compression algorithms.

The footage I selected is the one that showcases the dungeons and portals in the world.
In crafting the audio, my aim was to evoke a sense of mystery and intrigue when standing before the temples. I used low rumbles, howling winds, haunting resonances, all suggesting something ominous emanating from within the temples.To match the sounds with the art style of the game
I heavily utilized an audio degradation plugin called Codec, that simulates degradation of the internet compression algorithms.

I would like to offer you my services for free until the game is released.
Once the game is out and starts generating revenue, we can discuss compensation based on a small percentage of the profits until we've reach a fair amount that reflects the value I’ve brought to the project. Once that’s been paid, my percentage stops.I have worked this way multiple times before, and it is great for developers because it reduces financial risk while the project gets professional-quality audio and implementation.
It also benefits me by making it easier to connect with developers and collaborate on a first project together.I’d love to take care of the sound design for all in-game elements and, if possible, assist with their integration into the engine. I believe you’re using Unity, and I already have a good amount of experience implementing sound in.
